Happy May Day! May 5/1

It is currently the early hours of Mat 1st over here in England!! This morning I woke up at 130 and took a bus with some friends (Marissa, Carly, and Mikaela) into town! We walked around looking at the nightlife going on in Oxford. All the college students were out and all dressed up. Like a really dressy casual. They were all drunk actually so it was fun just standing on the street corner and watching them.

After standing on the street corner for a couple minutes three british guys came up to me and started to talk to me saying I looked like some tennis player. Also that I looked like a football player that they like also. Well anyways, we got to taking and they were really nice and we met all of their friends and we started walking down the street with all of them in a big line. We all had our arms around each other's shoulders and started doing the can-can a little....yea I don't know what really was going on but I was having fun with the large group of like 12 of us.

My friends wanted to go to a coffee shop/pub and just hang out. So we went there for a little over an hour and then grabbed breakfast.

After Breakfast we went to the bell tower. This is the main attraction on May Day. A choir sings from the bell tower and probably a couple thousand people congregate around and listen. It was really pretty.
